Did you know that once a penguin finds a mate, they stay together for the rest of their lives? I read this in a magazine the other day, and wondered how an animal so simple, could actually fall in love and stay in love. It seems like an impossible task. Usually, two humans fall in love, but eventually fall out of it. There are cases in which they're like penguins and stay together, but it doesn't seem to happen very often anymore. My grandparents on my mom's side have been together for a very long time, I believe it's over forty years at this point. I don't see how anybody could stick with the same person for forty years, let alone ten! Marriage is supposed to be for love, true love, not just plain old, 'I love you today, and we'll see about tomorrow.' That would be the love I've experienced, which is probably because I'm young and careless. I would love to be in 'penguin' love... I just need someone, that would make it worthwhile, to be my penguin.

Awww! That's the cutest thing ever!! Penguins are pretty awesome cuz they can put up with the same penguin their whole life. I think it's really cute.
"Penguin" love...I've never thought about it that way, but am impressed that you did!
